Gmail app to the milestone of billions
Gmail's Android app has touched the milestone of 1 billion (10 billion) downloads from the Google Play Store. Only three apps have been successful before. The apps are Google Play Services, YouTube and Google Maps. Coincidentally, the four apps that have been downloaded billions of times are owned by Google.
Launched in April 2004, Google has added regular features to the e-mail app. As a result, the acceptance of the app to the users is always high. The app has recently launched a chat feature, which can be used to make audio or video calls.
