How to turn on hibernate mode on computer
Many people use sleep mode when they need to take long breaks while working on a desktop computer or laptop. It consumes a lot of electricity or charge as the desktop computer or laptop is turned on. This is basically a power management mode, which stores the last working information (running applications, files, folders) in the hiberfil.sys file of the C drive when the computer or laptop is turned off. As a result, when launched on a computer or laptop, the last running applications are automatically displayed on the screen.
To start hibernate mode, you need to open the command prompt in administrator mode. To do this, first go to Windows Search and type cmd. Now you have to select the Run as administrator option by right clicking on the result that will be seen. Then when the user control screen appears, the command prompt will open as soon as you press yes. Now type powercfg / hibernate on and press enter to start hibernate mode.
