"PayPal closed in Russia, Google will not show ads."

The world's leading technology and financial institutions are gradually shutting down their services in Russia due to their invasion in Ukraine. Following this, PayPal, a popular online money transfer system, announced the closure of its financial transaction services in Russia.

In a statement issued today, PayPal President and CEO Dan Shulman said, "In the current context, we are suspending PayPal services in Russia."

A spokesman for the company said, the sudden closure of financial services would give the country's customers a chance to withdraw money for a limited time.
It should be noted that shortly after the start of the war, the Ukrainian government requested various technology companies, including PayPal, to suspend operations in Russia. PayPal has stopped opening new accounts in Russia since last Wednesday in response to the country's request. Due to the new decision, no money can be transacted through PayPal in Russia.

Google has announced that it will suspend its advertising services in Russia due to the Ukraine attack. Under the new decision, Google will not show advertisements of any organization or individual in the country. A Google spokesman said: "We are blocking Google's advertising in Russia due to unusual circumstances."

Before the ad was banned, Google cut off advertising opportunities on various sites, including Russia's state-owned television channel RT.
